Phil McKay - Actor, Presenter and Casting Agent at Lakeside castings has a career in TV and film spanning generations, giving him a highly respected reputation with TV and film production companies and casting directors. He has worked with actors on some of the highest-profile TV Dramas and Movies,  including: "The A-Word," BBC TV. "Swallows and Amazons," Feature Film. "Innocent," ITV courtroom Drama. "The Rising," SKY TV

Kris Macjames -Actor, Writer and Director of his now independent company Be Just  Productions has first-hand experience as a film director and how to successfully sail through auditions to secure a role. He has worked in front of the camera and almost every job behind it too, as well as, an extensive career on the live stage, all of which spanning across 18 years. Kris is currently working on his latest film project which has just been greenlit for the summer. (Our Place, 2023)

In 2022 we realised the extreme lack of opportunity for those trying to enter the industry in the Cumberland area. With ever de-creasing funding to the performing arts and the closing of many establishments in the area, the chance to get employment in acting was becoming harder and harder. We decided we wanted to make a difference. 

Our mission is give opportunity, take the fear out of casting auditions and give the chance to shine alongside industry professionals.
